Getting all the water you need every day can be hard. Getting your daily water intake in the winter can be even more challenging.
And it’s not that you don’t know all the benefits of drinking plenty of water. From helping you feel full, to keeping your blood pressure down, drinking good old H2O is key to good health.

I’m just saying, that cold drink after a chilly run in December just doesn’t have the same appeal as it does when you are hot and sweaty in July!
So with that in mind, here are some quick tips to help you drink up more water in the winter when the temps cool down.
Tea counts!
When looking to hit your daily water limit hot and cold teas are the same as water. If you find yourself struggling to fill up your water bottle during the workday, a nice variety of hot teas might be just the trick to get you to refill your cup.
If possible, opt for the green teas for a nice dose of antioxidants too.
Commit to Finishing the Bottle
When I come home from a workout a lot of times my water bottle will only be half empty. I’ll make myself finish it off before I throw it in the dishwasher. Those ounces add up fast!
Find a Water Bottle You Love
We all know there are pricey water bottles out there. If you see one you love it might be worth it take the plunge. Why? You are far more likely to keep it in tow if it makes you really happy to hold.
Know What You Need

The new recommendation? According to the Mayo Clinic, most women need about 9 cups, men need about 13. That is close to the 8×8 rule, but a little more. So the point? Just keep drinking.
